The column 1 “A
tick and the condition of the rooms in modern houses”
For half a century, people have put priority only on the immediate
conveniences and comfortable life. As a result everything surrounding
us becomes unnatural.. Under such unnatural condition, people
tend to feel uneasiness toward the future, or anxiousness for
the environmental destruction, and even start suffering from
the environment-related disease. This is an undeniable fact.
Recently the number of ticks inside the houses has surprisingly
increased. The chemical housing materials and high air tightness
are considered to be the main cause of the increase. The average
number of ticks in one house is said to be from several tens
million to several hundreds million. The invisible tick's excrement,
molted skin, and the remains contaminate the air of the houses.
This is the cause of the dust allergy.
More than 50 years ago, there were no environment-related diseases
at all. In those days, people wormed themselves by burning
kneaded charcoals inside of the houses in cold winter season.
Today, it is dangerous to fire charcoal inside of the house.
Because the room is so airtight that emitted gas would be fulfilled
inside. Then why in those days could they use them? The recent
study proves that Shoji and Fusuma (paper-sliding doors made
of WASHI) absorbed minute harmful materials and biodegrade
them.
SASAWASHI products have the same effect as that of Japanese
paper. So if you use the SASAWASHI products for curtains, wall
papers, clothes of the chairs, sheets, pillows, blanket, covers
of futon mat, the air in the house will be biodegraded and
purified. In fact, SASAWASHI curtain prevents dew condensation.
As a result, it hardly grows moldy. The rooms become mold free
and clean. And then ticks no longer grow.
Recently it is said that the healthy products including mats
which have the power of removing the ticks sell well. I believe
that to purify the air in the room and to make clean space
where ticks no longer grow is the better solution than to remove
the ticks once gathered. This will be the basic countermeasure. |
